Word Plaza is operated by Zivo in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the Word Plaza website and related games.

Information we collect

• A pseudonymous Firebase identifier created so the games can save progress and distinguish leaderboard entries.
• Your player name and optional country code.
• Game information such as results, completion time, checks, hints, invalid attempts, rewards and streaks.
• Technical and usage information supplied by your browser, hosting services and, only with permission, Google Analytics.
• Privacy choices and limited gameplay events stored locally in your browser.

Please do not use your full legal name or include personal information in your public player name.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the games, save progress, provide daily puzzles, display leaderboards, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and improve Word Plaza. Essential processing is necessary to provide the service or supports our legitimate interest in running a secure game. We use analytics only with your consent.

Public leaderboards

When a ranked result is saved, your player name, optional country and game result may appear publicly on a leaderboard. Where a game offers a private-results option, choosing it prevents that result from being added.

Service providers

We use Google Firebase for anonymous authentication, database services and game results. We use Google Analytics only when you allow analytics. Website hosting and delivery providers process the technical information needed to serve the site. These providers may process information outside the UK using their applicable legal safeguards.

Advertising in the mobile app

The Word Plaza mobile app may show ads supplied through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your location and privacy choices, Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic information to deliver, limit, measure or personalise ads. Where required, the app asks for consent before requesting ads. You can reopen the app's privacy choices from Settings. Optional rewarded ads grant the stated in-game reward only after the ad provider confirms completion.

Retention

Player profiles and ranked results are retained while needed to operate the service and leaderboards, unless you request deletion or we need limited retention for security or legal reasons. Browser storage remains until you clear it. Analytics information is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and is periodically deleted or aggregated.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Adults and children

Word Plaza is aimed at adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including restricted database rules and encrypted network connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
